Bridal Day-Of Style

Your wedding day hair, done right the first time and built to hold.

Wedding-day styling for the bride, in-salon or on location. Travel is quoted separately.

Prep before your appointment

  • Come in with hair that's been washed one or two days before, day-old hair actually holds styles better than freshly washed hair, so skip the morning shampoo
  • If you have a veil, hair pieces, or any accessories you plan to wear, bring them to the appointment so we can work around them from the start
  • Bring a photo or two of what you're going for, and honestly, bring one of what you want to avoid, both help us get on the same page faster
  • If your hair has any quirks we should know about (a stubborn cowlick, color-treated ends that get dry, anything like that), mention it when you book so we come prepared

Aftercare

  • We'll send you home with a few pins and any products used in your style, so a trusted person in your party can do small touch-ups if needed throughout the day
  • Try not to touch the style more than necessary, the less it's handled, the longer it holds, especially in warm or humid weather
  • If you're taking photos outside in the heat, a light-hold finishing spray can help, and we'll let you know what we used so you can keep some on hand
  • If anything feels loose or off before your ceremony, a few bobby pins placed at the base (not the surface) will secure it without disturbing the look

Stylists for Bridal Day-Of Style

A bridal day-of style appointment at Curl Interrupted runs 90 minutes, which is enough time to do the look properly, pinning and finishing a formal updo, working through a half-up style with real detail, or setting waves that are meant to last past the first dance. Starting at $150, it's a single focused appointment dedicated entirely to you on one of the more important mornings you'll have.

Waco summers are legitimately hot, and that's worth factoring into the conversation when you sit down with your stylist. Some looks hold up better than others in heat and humidity, and part of this appointment is making sure the style you leave with is actually built to last through the day you have planned. Bring your veil or any accessories so they can be placed properly, and come with a clear photo or two of what you have in mind.

In their words

What clients say about Bridal Day-Of Style

Good to know

Should I do a bridal hair trial before my wedding day?

A trial is genuinely worth it. It gives you and your stylist a chance to test the look, make adjustments, and figure out exactly what your hair needs to hold the style, so the morning of the wedding runs smoothly and there are no surprises.

How much does bridal hair cost at a salon?

At Curl Interrupted in Waco, bridal day-of style starts at $150. Final pricing can vary depending on the complexity of the look and your hair's length and thickness, so it's worth discussing at a consultation or trial appointment.

How long does a bridal day-of hair appointment take?

At Curl Interrupted, the bridal day-of style appointment is 90 minutes. That block is reserved specifically for you, so your stylist has enough time to work through a detailed updo, half-up style, or finished wave look without cutting corners.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. We travel to getting-ready locations within about 40 miles of the salon, which covers most of McLennan County and the towns around it. Travel is quoted with your wedding estimate. Larger parties farther out are possible with enough notice.
