I was nervous about extensions for two years. Reba talked me through every option at the consult and never pushed. Six months in and nobody can tell they are not mine.
A full hand-tied weft installation, custom-blended and cut to your shape. Hair quoted separately.
Prep before your appointment
- Come in with clean, dry hair, no conditioner, oil, or leave-in from the wash before your appointment, since buildup near the roots can affect how well the wefts bond
- If your hair has been chemically processed recently, let us know ahead of time so we can assess whether it's in a good place to support extensions right now
- Wear a comfortable top that pulls over your head easily, and plan to set aside a good chunk of your day, this install takes time done right
- A consultation before your install date is genuinely useful here, both for choosing the right amount of weft and for making sure your natural hair is healthy enough to carry it
Aftercare
- Sleep with your hair in a loose braid or low ponytail to reduce friction and keep the beaded rows from shifting overnight
- Use a sulfate-free shampoo and work it in downward strokes rather than piling your hair on top of your head, scrubbing at the roots can loosen the bonds over time
- Heat and humidity are hard on extensions, so if you're out in the summer for long stretches, a little UV-protective product on the lengths goes a long way
- Plan to come back in for a move-up appointment as your natural hair grows, waiting too long puts strain on the beads and on your hair underneath

Who you'll see
Stylists for Hand-Tied Weft Install
Hand-tied weft extensions use small beaded rows stitched close to the scalp, which keeps the install flat and lets the added hair move alongside your own. Because the method relies on your natural hair to hold everything in place, a consultation comes first. We look at density, length, and overall health before committing to an install date, since the wefts need a strong foundation to last. The appointment itself runs about four hours, and the service starts at $300 for the labor. Weft hair is priced separately based on how many rows your look requires.
These extensions do need regular upkeep. Rows move up every six to eight weeks as your natural hair grows, and the wefts themselves can last through several reinstalls with the right care. At home, that means a sulfate-free routine, sleeping with your hair in a loose braid or ponytail, and brushing from the ends before working toward the root. On install day at our Waco salon, come in with clean, completely dry hair so the beads seat properly. Before you leave, we go over your full maintenance routine in detail so you feel confident about what comes next.
