Matthew has cut my hair every four weeks for three years and it is the same every time. He also does my son's cut and somehow makes a seven-year-old sit still.
Scissor or clipper cut with a neck and edge cleanup, finished with light product. Beard trim can be added.
Prep before your appointment
- Come in with your hair in its usual state, how you wear it day-to-day tells us more than a fresh wash does
- If you have photos of cuts you like, bring them, but don't stress if you don't, we'll talk through what works for your hair before we pick up a scissor
- Let us know upfront if there's anything your last cut got wrong, that's genuinely useful information
- Grown-out or overdue for a trim? That's fine. We'd rather see what your hair naturally does than have you prep for us
Aftercare
- A little product goes a long way, especially in the heat and humidity, so we'll point you toward what actually suits your hair type before you leave
- If your cut feels off within a few days of your appointment, reach out, we'd rather fix it than have you live with it
- Between visits, a light conditioner helps offset the dryness that can sneak in even during cooler months
- When your hair starts to feel heavy or loses its shape, that's the right time to come back, not necessarily a fixed number of weeks
Who you'll see
Stylists for Men's Cut
A men's cut at Curl Interrupted starts with a quick conversation. Your stylist wants to know what you're working with and what you actually want, from a tighter fade to just cleaning up a shape you already like. Waco summers are long and humid, and a cut that sits well in that kind of heat matters more than one that looked great in a photo. The focus here is on what works for your hair, your routine, and your face, full stop.
At $32 for about 30 minutes, the appointment is efficient without feeling rushed. Come in with your hair in its natural state if you can. How it falls and moves on a regular Tuesday tells your stylist more than a freshly styled version does. If you have questions about upkeep or product, ask before you leave, your stylist is glad to give you a straight answer.
